Recommended prior knowledge

Fundamentals of mathematics

Knowledge Broadening

Students can determine integrals and 1st and 2nd order differential equations. They can read in and display measurement data.

Knowledge deepening

Students can demonstrate solutions.

Knowledge Understanding

Students can classify damped vibrations.

Students can analyze measurement data.

Application and Transfer

Students can apply integrals and differential equations to processes and in other modules.

Students can create mathematical models of growth, damping and oscillation.

Students develop differential equations from physical formulas, demonstrate system behavior in mathematical models and solve the temporal behavior of systems.
