- Mission Statement
This module deals with the transfer of scientific knowledge and methods into practice. Within the framework of case studies or applied research projects, independent scientific work is conducted in order to facilitate the entry into professional life.
- Content
1. Independent processing of a practical project as individual work or as a partial task within a working group in one of the laboratory areas of the university. Usually, the practical project is part of a current research and development project, often involving companies.

- Mode of Delivery
Students receive a task for the practical project after consultation with the supervisors (laboratory directors). This task is to be worked on independently under supervision within a given period of time. Discussions with the supervisor take place at regular intervals, in which the students present the status of their work and discuss it with the supervisor.
