Brief description

In a globalized world, the conditions for economic activity are significantly influenced by international economic relations. The module teaches students the essential economic, but also economically relevant legal and political international framework conditions for their later professional actions.

- World economic developments since the Second World War

- International legal framework for the world economy

- Institutions and instruments of international trade, monetary and financial policy.

Students will be able to identify and understand the major global economic frameworks.

Students will be familiar with the current state of the discipline's discussion and will be able to independently explore individual topics and research questions in greater depth.

Students will be able to critically evaluate the actions of global economic actors.

Application and Transfer

Students will be able to derive consequences for their professional actions from the global economic framework.

Communication and Cooperation

In their future professional practice, students will be able to justify the influences of global economic conditions on their decisions and actions in an argumentative manner and communicate them both within and outside their work environment.
