Brief description

Optimising crop production while minimising the impact on non-agricultural ecosystems requires in-depth knowledge of the fertiliser requirements of plants. Participants should gain in-depth knowledge of the methods used to determine nutrient requirements in order to be able to use them in a targeted manner in fertiliser advice.

The standard form of examination is the oral examination (alternative form of examination may be chosen by the examiner and then announced at the beginning of the course)

Exam duration and scope

Oral exam: 30 min. [alternative written exam: 120 min.]

Regular participation: attendance of at least 80% of the courses

Term paper: Length 10 pages.
