Physiotherapy International
Physiotherapy International
For about 20 years, the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences has been dedicated to the academisation of German physiotherapy and has since established numerous study programmes within the department to offer physiotherapists the possibility of an academic degree. In an international comparison, Germany is still one of the few countries that does not have an overall undergraduate academic education for the therapy professions.
In addition to studies, teaching and research, the department places a special focus on internationalisation in order to provide students with an insight into international standards. These international activities are expressed in diverse projects, including on-site study opportunities with international partners, visiting scholars, opportunities to spend time abroad within the study programme, as well as teaching abroad and research projects on an international level.
To ensure a high level of expertise, international lecturers with a wide range of experience in the field of physiotherapy practice and research have been appointed, among others.
