Objectives
Objectives - What can the participants expect?
- Strengthening of methodological competence: The participants of the Graduate Program are trained in the independent application and further development of scientific methods.
- Individual, qualified supervision and advice: The progress of the scientific work of doctoral candidates is systematically accompanied by two professors within the framework of the Graduate Program and flanked by methodological advice.
- Integration into the scientific community: The participants of the Graduate Program are supported in successfully contributing to (inter)national congresses and scientific journals.
- Practice of transdisciplinarity: In order to be able to present their methods and results in a group of representatives of different disciplines, the participants of the Graduate Program try out the transdisciplinary exchange with different groups of disciplines from the health care system.
- Strengthening translational skills: Participants of the Graduate Program should be able to actively shape the health care system of tomorrow through innovative approaches. To this end, they should learn to translate their scientific findings into practical implications.
- Pointing out career paths: Participants will get an overview of the spectrum of post-doctoral activities within and outside academia via the biographies of external lecturers.
- Forming their own academic community at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences: Participants get to know each other through the doctoral program and exchange ideas outside of the Graduate Program. They identify opportunities for collaboration and joint publications as well as master's theses in the case of students.
