With numerous options in Osnabrück, Lingen, and the surrounding region, you can get around flexibly, affordably, and, above all, in an environmentally friendly way. Bus and train
Would you like to travel inexpensively on regional trains, suburban trains, subways, trams, and buses of the participating transport associations? With the Germany Semester Ticket included in the semester fee, you are not only mobile in Osnabrück and Lingen, but throughout Germany.

North Sea (Emden or Norddeich Mole, approx. 2 hours by train)
- Fresh sea air and maritime flair: visit Emden with its canals and the Otto Huus, or continue on to Norddeich Mole, where you can experience the North Sea up close. Ferries to the East Frisian Islands also depart from here.
Bicycle
Osnabrück and Lingen are bicycle-friendly cities with well-developed paths and plenty of parking facilities, including directly at the university campuses. Whether you're heading to a lecture or going on a tour in the countryside, cycling is a flexible, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly way to get around. In both cities, you can easily reach any location by bicycle.
Repair stations on campus, rental options, and practical services make the bicycle the ideal companion for your studies.
The Ride2Repair bicycle repair shop in the garden of the AStA building on the Westerberg campus is open to all students and employees of the university and college, completely free of charge! Here you can repair your bike yourself. The workshop is also a place for exchange and knowledge sharing. Further information and opening hours can be found on the AStA website.
There are several bicycle repair stations available at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences where you can carry out minor repairs yourself. All stations are equipped with an air pump and tools for minor repairs.

In Lingen, charging stations are available at the New Town Hall, Linus Lingen Wasserwelten, and the EmslandArena, among other locations.
