The University Sports Center offers an affordable program with up to 150 activities during the semester, ranging from team, individual, and trend sports to numerous fitness and relaxation courses. In addition, you will find many other opportunities to get active in Lingen and Osnabrück, such as gyms, clubs, and outdoor sports activities in the surrounding area.

University Sports Center Osnabrück (ZFH)
Are you looking for a suitable sports program and want to meet new people? The University Sports Center (ZfH) at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and Osnabrück University offers a diverse program that is designed to do just that.
Whether you're interested in a strenuous fitness class, relaxing back exercises, or a round of volleyball, you'll find the right course at University Sports. The courses and events are designed to offer you the ideal balance to your everyday student life and give you the opportunity to make new friends.
Would you like to play a round of basketball or beach volleyball outside of the course program or use the calisthenics facility on Jahnstra?e? Then you can simply book the fields at the desired time. You can find all the information you need on the respective page.
You can spend a relaxing evening with your fellow students playing a few outdoor games in Osnabrück's Schlossgarten. You can borrow sports and games equipment free of charge from the Student Center (StudZ) in the Schlossgarten. The selection includes Viking chess, volleyballs, badminton sets, Frisbees, and much more.
Renting equipment is easy: just bring your student ID, select the equipment you want, and get started. The equipment cannot be reserved and must be returned on the same day.

Of course! Most courses and sports activities are aimed at both beginners and advanced participants. The levels are specified in the course descriptions so that you can always find the right activity for you.
The basic program of the University Sports Center is free of charge for students. This includes team sports in particular, but also running groups and two fitness gymnastics courses. For special courses, workshops, or excursions (e.g., climbing, water sports), there are usually small participation fees.
For most courses, comfortable sportswear and indoor or sports shoes are sufficient. For special courses such as climbing, yoga, or water sports, the necessary equipment is often provided.
