General higher education entrance qualification, subject-related entrance qualification, advanced technical college entrance qualification or completed preparatory training determined to be equivalent by the competent ministry or a master's certificate or completed training course as a certified technician

Vocational placement / practical phase of studies:
12-month agricultural internship at a recognized training company, completed vocational training in suitable professions and comparable activities are acknowledged / 8 weeks in agricultural preproduction or post-production in the advanced study phase.

Scientific and socio-economical knowledge (comprehensive expertise) and advanced knowledge of production technology
Fundamental methods from the agricultural sector are mastered, information and communication technologies are utilized (skills)

Key qualifications and interdisciplinary competencies for solving practical professional tasks (practical capability, capacity for teamwork, capacity for lifelong learning)

Free choice and special offerings in the areas of agronomy, livestock science, economy, process engineering, key qualifications. Optional areas of concentration in "Applied Poultry Science" and "Horse Management"

Specialists, managers, and supervisors along the value chains: Business, operations, department, project, and process management; herd management; controlling; experimentation; human settlements; technical and management consultancy; apprenticeship and in-service training; research and development; sales; service; quality assurance; certification; audit; finances and insurance; information management; press and publicity work

Agrarian, food, environmental, energy, and disposal industries including public authorities, administration, associations, consultancies, science, and media

SoSe 2022 - approx. 315 Euro per semester (e.g. for the public transportation ticket)
