The degree program Applied Plant Biology focuses on crops with their varied, beneficial characteristics. Whether fruits, vegetables, grain, trees or flowers – cultivated plants have to meet high quality standards nowadays. In addition, they have to be grown in an environment-friendly and sustainable way.
The Bachelor degree program enables students to examine how these tasks can be further improved and what are the challenges in researching cultivated plants. Starting from the basics of phytology, the degree program lets students acquire the competences needed for a successful career in the broadly diversified green sector.
