Program structure
Structure of the program
The six-semester Bachelor’s degree program is divided into required subjects and required electives.
- A practical project and the Bachelor thesis are conducted in cooperation with companies.
- A semester abroad is possible in the 4th or 5th semester.
- Degree: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
The degree program is accredited regularly and is oriented towards current requirements. Since 2021, the faculty has been part of the GRI Community, which offers students additional competencies in the area of sustainable business.
Required elective options and in-depth specializations
Starting in the third semester, students choose between:
- Operations Research
- Statistics (Deepening)
Starting in the fourth semester, students specialize in at least two subject areas:
- Financial Controlling
- Marketing
- Logistics
- Taxation and Audit
- Business Informatics
Two further courses can be chosen freely. In addition, courses on methods and key qualifications are offered.

In the 4th or 5th semester, students have the opportunity to study abroad at one of the partner universities.

* Within the compulsory elective area two modules from the range of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences are to be selected for one's own competency profiling.

Option: Integrated study abroad
Modules amounting to 30 credit points must be completed at a partner university of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences abroad.

The course ends in the sixth semester with a 12-week scientific practice, which is carried out in cooperation with a company, as well as the 12-week Bachelor's thesis.
