20 years of the Master's program in Management in Nonprofit Organisations is a reason to celebrate!

Twenty years ago, Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences welcomed its first students to the master's program in Management in Nonprofit Organizations! Since then, approximately 480 students have successfully completed the program, gaining new knowledge, gaining experience, exchanging ideas, and making friends.

To mark the 20th anniversary, we would like to cordially invite you to come to Osnabrück on Friday/Saturday, September 11/12, 2026 (Caprivistra?e 30a, Building CN and Caprivi Lounge, Building CK) and celebrate the anniversary with us!

We look forward to meeting and interacting with all graduates, current students, professors, staff, and, of course, all interested nonprofit organizations and citizens!

We are particularly pleased to co-host this symposium with the GROWTH project at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. The goals of GROWTH and ours complement each other perfectly here: Especially in times of shrinking spaces, scientific expertise should encourage nonprofit organizations in the region to consider sustainable innovations and discuss them with the scientific community.

DAAD + BMBF

Thanks to support from the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research), Prof. Dr. Umer Khayyam is teaching as a long-term visiting professor at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. He is an associate professor in the Department of Development Studies at NUST University in Islamabad, Pakistan. As part of the long-term lecturership funded by the DAAD, Prof. Dr. Umer Khayyam (Pakistan) will deliver his farewell lecture and help shape the content of the conference.
