Features of the degree program Musculoskeletal Therapy (Manual Therapy – OMPT)
The objective of the Master of Science degree program Musculoskeletal Therapy (Manual Therapy – OMPT) is the training of certified manual therapists according to the standards of the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT) and the acquisition of grounded knowledge and skills for scientific work. The combination of clinical expertise and science allows the evaluation and analysis of therapeutic activities on the basis of current research and forms the basis for optimal patient management.
ATTENTION: The Master's program in Musculoskeletal Therapy is taught entirely in German and requires tuition fees. Applicants must demonstrate German proficiency at DSH 2/C1 and English proficiency at CEF B1. Provisional admission is possible if applicants without German language proof reach B1 by semester start and C1 by the second semester. Completing this program does not grant professional licensure as physical therapists in Germany.
