The international orientation of the Faculty of Business Management and Social Sciences enables all students to gain experience abroad. Depending on your degree program, integrated semesters abroad or mobility windows as well as lectures in English offer you a wide range of options for your international experiences. Language courses in Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese or German as a foreign language for international students allow you to prepare yourself optimally for your stay abroad.
Get to know other cultures and languages during a semester or internship abroad and have your experience credited towards your degree. The Faculty of Business Management and Social Sciences maintains a broad network of partner universities worldwide. Spain, Italy, South Korea, Colombia, the USA and South Africa are just a few of the countries you can choose for your semester abroad.
But the Faculty not only offers its students the opportunity to get a taste of life abroad, it also warmly welcomes international students to get to know German culture and language and gain academic experience in Germany. Choose from our English- or German-taught courses in our Bachelor's and Master's programs and put together your own individual semester abroad with us in Osnabrück.

The Faculty of Business Management and Social Sciences is a member of EFMD Global (European Foundation of Management Development), a global network of business schools and corporations dedicated to enhance excellence in management education and development. In 2025, the Faculty’s study program International Management (B.A.) was internationally accredited and awarded with the renowned EFMD Accredited seal of excellence.
