InDe-PaHT Project
Osnabr¨¹ck University of Applied Sciences has received funding for the InDe-PaHTproject (Deutsch-Indonesische Partnerschaft f¨¹r Nachhaltige ·ï»ËÌåÓýntwicklung und Transformation/ German-Indonesian Partnership For Sustainable Higher Education Development and Transformation), which aims to establish and expand strategic partnerships and networks. The project is part of the HAW.International program/ UAS.International program (Internationalisation of Universities of Applied Sciences), initiated by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028.
Internationalisation of Universities of Applied Sciences (HAW. International/ UAS.International) program enables universities of applied sciences to advance their internationalisation at all levels of the university and establish sustainable internationalisation structures and strategically oriented collaborations. At the same time, the programme supports universities in cooperation with their practice partners to prepare students even better for the globalised labour market and to provide them qualification as professionals for German industry.

Strategic expansion of the Indonesia country focus at Osnabr¨¹ck University of Applied Sciences to build sustainable Indonesia expertise among students, doctoral candidates, and academic staff, and to strengthen the university¡¯s international profile within the DAAD UAS.International framework.

Specific Project Goals
- International Study Programs:
Development of practice-oriented, international study programs (incl. mobility windows, digital formats, and double-degree options) - Strategic Partnerships & Networks:
Expansion and consolidation of long-term strategic partnerships with Indonesian and international academic and practice partners - Mobility & Exchange:
Increased student, staff, and research mobility between Germany and Indonesia (study, practice, research, excursions) - Research & Doctoral Cooperation:
Establishment of a joint doctoral program, strengthening research capacity and international recruitment for HAW professorships - Sustainability & SDGs:
Targeted contribution to SDGs 4, 8, 11, 12, and 14 through sustainability-focused teaching and research partnerships
